ERP professionals hang-out - open for more details about ERP...

ERP = Enterprise Resource Management

A couple of definitions from two of the biggest players in the business, SAP & Oracle.

"The simplest way to define ERP is to think about all the core processes needed to run a company: finance, HR, manufacturing, supply chain, services, procurement, and others. At its most basic level, ERP integrates these processes into a single system." SAP
"ERP systems tie together a multitude of business processes and enable the flow of data between them. By collecting an organization’s shared transactional data from multiple sources, ERP systems eliminate data duplication and provide data integrity with a single source of truth." Oracle

Other major ERP software companies are Sage, NetSuite, Infor, Microsoft, Epicor, IFS and Deltek.

how we build

#nocode
#buildinpublic
  • it's a thing, the theory is that it holds me accountable to the community for the build, the ERP community and the maker community.
  • It also allows the community to provide early feedback as they evaluate the product.
  • There's an active twitter #
#makerpad community challenge
  • I'm building this as part of the makerpad community challenge - I'm also part of the 6-week community building cohort. To find out more checkout makerpad

our tech stack

Notion

In my humble opinion this is the best productivity app around, part database, part web-design, part life hacker - there's not much it can't do.

Super
Convertkit

If you're anything like me, I hadn't heard of convertkit until recently. It's like mailchimp but more powerful, with more function and form. Brilliant for creating great marketing funnels and things like community waitlists

Typeform
Circle

I first came across circle as a community platform when makerpad moved their forum to them. It's great visually and the layout, notifications and search all help with engagement - it's all about engagement not numbers!

Memberspace
Zapier

To automate the flow

Integromat

Integromat - like zapier but with more configuration options and complex workflow possibilities.
